To make sure your child is only communicating with people you approve of, all communication goes through our free TickTalk App. Anyone who wants to video call or message your child must download our free app, request permission to add your child, and be approved by a parent or guardian to give your child the safest experience possible.

We’re one of the only kids’ smartwatches to be certified under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Hint: it’s a big deal.

Another reason why parents choose TickTalk is our Lifetime Limited Warranty on our hardware and software for the lifetime of your TickTalk 4.

We design innovative technology in-house from the ground up, regularly updating our software to give you new features at no extra cost.

We believe technology should give our kids the tools to be the best versions of themselves. We design our smartwatches to teach kids to have a healthy, non-reliant relationship with tech while encouraging real life connections.

Listen to unlimited kid-friendly songs, podcasts, and stories powered by iHeartRadio Family* while hitting daily step goals with our Activity Tracker.

TickTalk was created in Southern California when our Founders, two parents and entrepreneurs, were searching for a safe way to stay connected with their young daughter without getting her a cell phone.

After searching the market, they quickly found that most available phone products for kids lacked safety features or were missing elements any cell phone would have. With no existing product meeting their needs, they decided to develop their own.

With only the positive features of a smartphone, TickTalk gives your child a safe introduction to technology with no games, social media, or internet access, with you in control of the features you want your child to use.

What makes TickTalk different from other children’s smartwatches is that our products are designed by our internal team from start to finish, without any third-party vendors, to offer our customers the highest level of security over their child’s private information. Most of our competitors use a version of the same generic parental control app, making it an easy target for hacking opportunities and privacy loopholes.

Despite being a startup, we invested in building our own Research & Development Team, with dedicated engineers who come with years of experience at companies like Samsung and Apple, to custom design our parental control app and smartwatches. We offer 24/7 security over our backend along with end-to-end encrypted messaging and partnered with one of the world's most secure cloud servers powered by Amazon Web Service (AWS) to protect user data.

In the early days of our company, our founders would drive all over Southern California, sometimes over 100 miles from our offices, to personally help our customers set up their TickTalks. Now, we have a dedicated Southern California Support team who is available Monday-Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM PST to answer any questions you have every step of the way.

We're proud of what we've accomplished and we look forward to sharing it with you. Welcome to the future of connecting!

With our children spending more time in front of screens, making sure they are staying active has become a concern for many parents. Getting kids away from their smart devices can be a struggle, but a kids smartwatch with Activity Tracker makes being healthier seamless and fun. If you’ve been struggling to encourage your child to be more active, here are the top five benefits of a kid's fitness tracker that will benefit your child physically, emotionally, and mentally.

While the majority of parents consider their children physically active, studies find that less than 25% of children over age 6 are getting the recommended 60 minutes per day of physical activity. With a kids smartwatch that tracks steps, you’ll get a clearer insight into exactly how much your child is moving by being able to see their daily, weekly, and monthly steps. Knowing their current activity levels can help both you and your child come up with a game plan for physical activities that interest them while inspiring them to hit their goals.

The average child spends only 4-7 minutes outside and a kid's fitness tracker can help motivate your child to have fun and play with daily step goals! Our kid’s smartwatches even come packed with a Step Championship for your child to compete for the most steps with their friends, creating a healthy competition to move more. Meanwhile, parents love that while their child is out playing with friends, they can know their child is safe with GPS location tracking.

Studies find that kids who are more physically active get better quality sleep than kids who don’t. By encouraging physical activity, a kids fitness tracker is the perfect tool for restless kiddos who aren’t excited for bedtime. Your child will love the motivation of hitting their step goals throughout the day all while being ready to take on the next day after a good night of rest.

By being more active, your child will boost their mood and self-esteem by releasing much-needed endorphins. On top of that, studies show that children who get more exercise are shown to be more alert and respond quicker to cognitive tasks in the classroom, leading to better grades and test scores. It’s a win-win!

Developing healthy habits in childhood makes it much easier to stay healthy as our kids grow into adults. A kids smartwatch with fitness tracking gives kids the building blocks to success by creating a foundation for a healthy, active lifestyle. Not only does a kid’s smartwatch encourage a more balanced lifestyle, real-life connections, and a non-reliant relationship with technology, but they’ll learn the benefits of being active every day on their emotional, mental, and physical well-being.

As parents, we are constantly striving to provide the best possible future for our children. However, in the digital age, protecting their data privacy has become a crucial part of that effort. In addition to potential security breaches, the long-term effects of data collection on children's career prospects have come under scrutiny. Here are some ways data collection can affect your child's future career prospects and what you can do to protect them.

Studies have shown that algorithms used in hiring processes can perpetuate systemic biases and discrimination. If your child's data is being collected from a young age, there is a chance that biased algorithms may hinder their job prospects in the future. Encouraging your child to pursue a diverse range of interests and activities can help prevent biased algorithms from limiting their opportunities.

As the public becomes more aware of the importance of data privacy, potential employers are more likely to scrutinize a candidate's data history. Inappropriate posts or comments on social media or even innocuous data that could be misconstrued may negatively impact your child's professional reputation. Teaching your child about responsible online behavior from a young age can help them avoid negative consequences in the future.

Data breaches can have a significant impact on an individual's financial standing, particularly if sensitive financial information is exposed. In some cases, identity theft can lead to poor credit scores and difficulties securing loans, which can hinder your child's future career prospects. Encouraging your child to practice good data practices, such as using secure passwords and being cautious when sharing personal information, can help prevent these types of breaches.

Studies have shown that constant surveillance and data collection can have adverse effects on mental health, particularly for children. This can include increased anxiety and stress levels, as well as a feeling of being constantly monitored. Encouraging your child to take breaks from technology and fostering open communication about their online experiences can help prevent these negative effects.

These days, children have many reasons to be glued to the screen. Aside from doing their homework on computers, they also get video games, movies, shows, and social media through digital devices. But although digital screens and media access come with a wealth of information to learn more about the world, they are also very damaging for your kids' eyes.

Unfortunately, statistics show that since 2020, children's average screen use has increased 1.5 times, from 162 minutes to 246 minutes daily. That's why it's essential to keep a close watch on your kids' eye health. Here's what you need to know about how digital screens affect their eyes—and how you can help.

Since more kids now use digital devices, many studies have been conducted about their impacts on vision and eye health. So far, researchers have found that children exposed to digital screens before age three are more likely to develop myopia, also known as near-sightedness. Moreover, kids using screens for over three hours a day were four times more likely to have myopia than those who spend only an hour daily. Meanwhile, children who use gadgets heavily are more likely to develop dry eyes. This potentially long-term condition can cause blurry vision and discomfort. It can also lead to digital eye strain, which can cause your kids to experience headaches and itchy or sore eyes. These complications can carry into adulthood and pose difficulties as your kids pursue higher education and their professional lives.

One of the best ways to protect your kids' eyes is by reducing their screen time and instead encouraging unplugged activities that don't involve digital devices. They'll be more motivated if their parents are involved, so try activities like baking, scavenger hunts, board games, or building a fort. If your kids are older, they may be more interested in exploring the outdoors or learning a new sport, instrument, or craft. Find something that interests them to avoid prolonged use of digital screens.
